Panasonic Blu-ray player, dropped to $199

This week JR.com has cut the price on the Panasonic Blu-ray player (model no. DMP-BD601K) from $199.95 to $119, a price drop of $80.95.  That reduction makes this the lowest price we have seen on this Blu-ray player anywhere.  Shipping rates start at around $10 and vary by method of delivery.  Sales tax applies for New York residents.

Customer reviews shine a favorable light on the Panasonic Blu-ray player, which is why it sees a four and a half out of five star rating.  Sony's BDP-S360 Blu-ray player is available at Amazon.com for $128 with FREE super saver shipping.  Up the pricing scale a bit you'll find the refurbished Samsung BD-P3600 Blu-ray player with 1GB of RAM, HDMI, two USB ports, Pandora, PC streeming and a wireless adapter, available at TigerDirect.com for $199.99.  The premium priced LG BD570 is Wi-Fi enabled and is currently priced at $244.99 at SonicElectronix.com.
